Wicked Coatings was founded in Poole, Dorset with a clear mission: to deliver specialist coating and surface treatment services of the highest possible standard. What began as a small workshop operation driven by passion and expertise has grown steadily into one of the south of England's most capable coating facilities, now operating from a purpose-built 19,000 square foot premises equipped with state-of-the-art spray booths, blasting chambers and preparation areas.
Our growth has been built on a simple foundation: do exceptional work, invest in the best equipment and people, and never compromise on quality. From aerospace components requiring NACE Level 3 certified inspection to bespoke consumer projects, every item that passes through our facility receives the same meticulous attention to detail. Non-negotiableEvery coating leaves the booth measured, inspected and documented. ISO 9001 certified processes, NACE Level 3 sign-off and full traceability on every job — from a single prototype to a full production run. If it does not meet specification, it does not leave the building.

Measured to the micrometreSurface preparation, film thickness, cure window, gloss reading. We treat each variable as a discipline, not a checklist. Five low-bake spray booths and dedicated blasting chambers let us hold the same tolerance on a defence component as on a custom motorcycle tank.

Company Founded
Wicked Coatings was established in Poole, Dorset, beginning operations from a small workshop facility with a focus on specialist wet spray painting and hydro dipping services for local clients.
ISO 9001 Certification
Achieved ISO 9001 quality management certification, formalising our commitment to consistent quality and enabling us to serve clients in more demanding industry sectors such as defence and medical.
Facility Expansion to 19,000 Sq Ft
Relocated to our current purpose-built 19,000 square foot facility, featuring five low-bake spray booths, two dry-back booths, dedicated blasting chambers and climate-controlled preparation areas.
NACE Level 3 Certification
Our inspection team achieved NACE Level 3 certification, the highest level of coating inspection qualification recognised internationally, enabling us to self-certify work to the most stringent standards.
Aerospace Sector Entry
Secured our first major aerospace contracts, supplying specialist coating services for aircraft interiors, exterior components and ground support equipment to leading aerospace manufacturers and MRO providers.
Consumer Services Launch
Launched our dedicated consumer services division, bringing professional-grade hydro dipping, carbon dipping and custom paint spraying services to individual customers and enthusiasts.
